The Galilee Mountains are known for their rocky terrain . They are a popular tourist destination and have an abundance of flora and wildlife. The Jordan River acts as a sort of border for Palestine and as an important water source. Also, the Jordan River eventually flows into the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea is also known as the Sea of Salt. It also acts as a border for Palestine. Due to it's saltiness. wildlife does not flourish well around it. This is how it gets it's name, Dead Sea.
